Introducing Max Beutow, President & CEO of CoxHealth:
Max Buetow has served as COO; Executive VP, and in many important leadership roles before being named President & CEO of CoxHealth in June 2022. He originally joined the Cox Health organization in 2012.
He is a devout family man, a sincere man of faith that serves in his church and shares his faith openly, and is active in the Springfield, Missouri community. Max is a strong proponent of mentoring, proactive decision-making, and how “God connects the dots”. His life journey has included flipping houses, hockey, and hot dog buns.
Max Buetow has an MBA from Drury University; Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - Process Improvement from Missouri State University; and a BA in English from Canisius College.
An avid athlete, he joined the North American Hockey League team in St. Louis that eventually relocated to Springfield MO; later he was on the hockey team for Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
Max Buetow has served on the board of SkyWord Sports Ministries, a Springfield-based organization that uses sports to spread Christianity to various communities in different locations throughout the world.
