About Philip:
Pastor Philip Abode and his wife, Rondalyn, have lived in and served the north Tulsa community since the founding of Crossover Bible Church in 2006. Philip always wanted to serve at a church whose impact in the community went beyond Sunday mornings, and he began to see how that might become a reality the first season he coached a 3rd grade tackle football team in 2008. The relationships built and the inter-connectedness of the struggles that the families faced led Philip to embrace a more comprehensive philosophy of ministry known as Christian Community Development (CCDA.org). In 2011, Crossover Bible Church formed Crossover Community Impact, Inc. to serve as the primary vehicle to enable Crossover to tangibly love and serve its community. In addition to the Crossover Kids After-School and Summer Day Camp Programs, Crossover serves north Tulsa through adult and youth sports and fitness (Crossover Sports & Fitness), health care (Crossover Health Services), housing (Crossover Development Company), and education (Crossover Preparatory Academy).
