Introducing Phil Melugin:
Phil's undergraduate degree is in psychology, from Friend’s University with his masters being in counseling, from Wichita State University. Phil married Kimberly in 1988 and have three children together, and six grandchildren.
After an early career in vocational rehabilitation counseling, Phil started working in home care in 1993 for Cox Health Systems. Phil left Cox Health Systems in 1999 to start his first home care agency, Integra Health Care, Inc. Over the course of 12 years Phil grew the agency to a 55 million full continuum home care agency. In 2011 Phil sold the company to his partners who had joined the company after its commencement. In 2011 Phil started Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, Inc. At present PHC is annualizing at 200 million.
Phil is involved consistently with the following organizations through his company:
SWMOA, Harmony House, Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Nixa Chamber, 88.3 The Wind-CleanAIR Kids Club, Baptist Bible Fellowship International, The Warrior’s Journey, Honor Flight of the Ozarks, Western Sports Foundation, Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, OneSole Purpose, In Time of Need Foundation, Children's Miracle Network; finally, Greene County 100 Club.
In addition to a career in home care services, Phil owns Mountain Creek Ranch a 1,000 acre working ranch in Southern Missouri. Phil raises and breaks horses, also raises beef for private beef sales. The ranch has been developed into a destination operation, offering; three lodges, trail rides, chuck wagon experiences, upland bird hunting, competition level skeet/trap range, executive and family retreat facilities and programing.
