Introducing Lisa Alexander, CFRE:
Lisa Alexander is the President of the CoxHealth Foundation, responsible for all development activities within the health system, including all community hospitals and Cox College. In her 29 year career at CoxHealth, Lisa has raised over $350 million to support the needs of patients served within the organization. In recent years, Lisa has led the federal grant writing efforts to recapture $92 million to date from the pandemic era funding opportunities. Lisa is the administrator for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals chapter at CoxHealth and formerly served as its Executive Director prior to becoming the Foundation president. Lisa also has responsibility of the Employee Store, a concierge program benefit for CoxHealth employees. Outside of CoxHealth, Lisa has served on many boards over the years including Volt Credit Union, Friends of the Garden, Springfield Sheltered Workshop, MU Parent Leadership Council, Jeff Julian ALS Foundation amongst others. Lisa is married to Joel Alexander and has three children, and two grandchildren which fill her heart!
