Introducing Dr. Mike Strauss:
Dr. Michael G. Strauss is a David Ross Boyd Professor of Physics at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. He conducts research in experimental elementary particle physics currently at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, where he studies the fundamental particles and forces in the universe.
Dr. Strauss earned his B.S. in physical science from Biola University and his Ph.D. in elementary particle physics from The University of California, Los Angeles.
Mike has spoken about the intersection of science and Christianity at universities, schools, and churches throughout the world. He is the author of the book The Creator Revealed: A Physicist Examines the Big Bang and the Bible, and one of the general editors of Zondervan’s Dictionary of Christianity and Science.
Mike and his wife Julie have been married for 33 years and have two adult children. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, bicycling, snow skiing, and playing an occasional video game.
