Springfield FBS - Andrea Battaglia

  • Twin Oaks Country Club 1020 East Republic Road Springfield, MO, 65807 United States (map)

Introducing Andrea Battaglia, Chief Officer of Excellence at Abacus CPA.

As an expert planner, Andrea’s faith journey has been one of learning God’s plans, learning when to say “yes!”, and trusting His next step – even if it’s not clear or easy. “’For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘Plans to prosper you and not harm you.’” Jeremiah 29:11.

An impactful Bible story for Andrea is Joseph, and the season of feast and famine. Something she knows well. From church planting on the East Coast to struggling to find a church home in the Ozarks and climbing the corporate ladder to hitting rock bottom, Andrea has had a valuable, and often difficult, journey in trusting God’s plan.

Andrea has been a Christ follower for more than 30 years and is proud to have been baptized by her father on her 12th birthday.

She’s also blessed to be a person of influence, with a gift for speaking truth, grace, and empowering others to make each day a little better. From local women’s groups to national conferences, Andrea has shared her story – success and struggles – with thousands.

Andrea has worked (and thrived!) at Abacus CPAs for three years. She believes in the mission, loves the impact she can make, and appreciates the value the firm places in serving others. As the firm grows, she’s proud to see the difference we’re making in our employees, clients, and our community. Andrea is here to tell you that your work is not your calling, but a canvas to express your calling. And even if what you are doing is boring or seems like a waste, it’s still significant, because how you work is more important than where you work.

As Chief Excellence Officer, Andrea leads and elevates the firm’s “Commitment to Excellence” in all areas – impacting both clients and employees. She is a Graduate from Drury University: with a Master of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communication; a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Chemistry with a minor in Global Studies.

Andrea has been an Ozarks native most of her life. For more than 20 years, she has volunteered with local, state and national organizations leading their communication efforts. Andrea and her husband, Matt, have four kids. When Andrea has free time she likes to run or hike, weight train, visit Table Rock lake – and organize anything and everything.
